Megan Nolan is a New Orleans based artist who specializes in hand drawn illustrations and design for a variety of apparel, merchandise, digital and print. Each piece is thoughtfully created to bring a unique touch to every project.

I am SO excited to share that my artwork was chosen as the winner of the Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) Contest!

This one feels extra special to me because ARNO recently brought the sweetest new member into our family. My mom adopted Gigi, formerly Gingerbread, from ARNO, and she truly could not be a more perfect fit. We absolutely adore her, so of course I had to include our girl in the illustration!

It makes me so happy to create artwork for an organization that does so much to give animals like Gigi the chance to find the families who will love them forever. I’m incredibly honored that my art was chosen and am excited to share that you can now purchase shirts directly from ARNO with all proceeds going to the important work they do!

This crawfish season, I was asked to create new artwork for Sweet Baton Rouge, a locally woman-owned business located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Our goal was to create distressed hand drawn style artwork whose colors and imagery are inspired by the sights and smells of crawfish season.

This vibrant 3-color artwork features illustrations of all the essential crawfish boil elements, crawfish, boiling pot, corn, potatoes, mushrooms and garlic.

For 2024 Mardi Gras season, I collaborated with Café Du Monde, famous makers of the New Orleans beignet, to create a Mardi Gras inspired Café Du Monde float illustration for a special edition Mardi Gras long sleeve t-shirt. They provided me with an existing illustration that we updated and recreated to work on apparel.

Nola Tawk, a female-owned and run life style brand commissioned me to update their “They All Asked for You” zoo artwork. I worked with them to update and refresh the existing artwork which has since been used on everything from pajamas, party supplies, to home goods.
